An ethereally beautiful rose, although the flowers shatter quickly.

Needs high-culture to grow well.
Very fragrant.

Charles Rennie Macintosh
Shrub (Austin), 1994
This is an extremely tough plant for both summer and winter extremes. Chalice-shaped lilac-pink flowers that hold up in the heat. The plant blooms heaviest in the hottest part of summer when the other roses go semi-dormant. Very fragrant if there is a touch of humidity.
