Agarwood, or Oud Oil, is the most costly, most sought-after perfume oil in the world. For thousands of years it has been used as an aphrodesiac, to enhance meditation and bring enlightenment. This is a lovely Agarwood Oil made from plantation-grown agarwood trees in Assam, India. It is sweetly balsamic, indolic, and very long-lasting. It is 100% pure, natural, and affordably priced.

Mature Agarwood Trees Our Agarwood oil is sustainably harvested and ethically obtained. This oil is obtained by CO2 extraction, rather than the more common steam distillation method. Compared to steam-distilled Oud, CO2 extraction gives Oud a more true-to-life fragrance profile. Our Agarwood Oil has none of the burnt, acrid notes often found in distilled agarwood oils.

CO2 extraction is a non-toxic, environmentally-friendly process which uses pressure rather than heat or solvents to extract the oil. It is able to render oil from fragments too small to be used in distillation, so less wood is needed. Plantation-grown agarwood trees provide good livings for workers and reduce poaching of critically endangered agarwood trees.
